Field Locations

U4, U6 & U8 will be playing at Schilberg Park.  Only fields shows as 3 & 4 are utilized for Fall, 1-4 for Spring.

Spectators are to sit on the outside and players/coaches will be in the middle between the fields.

U10 games will be played at King Park.  Please make sure NOT to park in the Post Office parking lot.   Spectators are to be seated on the railroad tracks side.

FOR FALL 2023, U4&6 WILL HAVE GAMES ON FIELD 4 (near walking path) AND U8 WILL HAVE GAMES ON FIELD 3 (near fencing and parking lot)

A few notes and reminders:

  • Uniforms:
    • Shinguards are required.
    • Home = Red, Away = White
    • Black shorts or pants
    • Black soccer socks covering shinguards.  If wearing pants, they can be under the pants and the pants can be the covering.
    • No jewelry is allowed.
  • We recommend bringing both jerseys.  If the opposing team is short on players, teams can help each other and share players to maximize playing time and great games.
  • Bring plenty of water!
  • Restrooms will be open at Schilberg for practice and games.  A portapotty will be placed at King Park.
  • Field setup and takedown will be handled by volunteers.  At times, especially when windy, sometimes the pop-up goals may need to be re-staked.
  • For U10, if players are interested in goalie, we recommend they purchase their own gloves but we also don't want players playing without gloves.
  • We have requested refs.  If a game isn't covered, then coaches and/or parents would need to help out.  Games will still be played without refs or short refs.  U8 will have one ref and for U10 we request 3 (1 center and 2 sides).
  • Any game cancellations will be posted to Facebook and coaches emailed first.  Then we will try to update the website, if time allows.
  • Key items for age groups:
    • U10 starts 7v7, one is goalie.
    • U8 starts throw ins (out of bounds on sides), goal kicks (out of bounds end line by opposing team) and corner kicks (out of bounds by defending team).
    • U6 is "continuous play".  The field is the same size as the U8, so 4v4 is appropriate and helps with playing time.  Both coaches will be on the field, with an extra ball.  As a ball goes out of bound, a coach will call "new ball" and put the ball in play on the field.  Parents please help with grabbing the ball that went out of bounds and get back to a coach.

Parents/spectators are to be seated on the opposite side of players.  At King, parents will be near the train tracks.  At Schilberg, they will be on the far outsides, with players/coaches in between the fields.

For U10, families are NOT to park in the post office parking lot.  The gravel parking lot owned by the City can be used, street parking or the parking lot near the tennis courts.
